1. PAN Aadhar link status through Income Tax e-filing portal:
  • Visit the portal: https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/.
  • Log in: Use your credentials if you have an account. Otherwise, register for a new one.
  • Go to “Quick Links” on the homepage and click “Link Aadhaar Status.”
  • Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number, then click “View Link Aadhaar Status.”
  • You’ll receive a message stating whether your PAN is linked to your Aadhaar or not.
2. PAN Aadhar link status through SMS:
  • From your registered mobile number, send an SMS to either 567678 or 56161 in the following format: UIDPAN<12-digit Aadhaar> <10-digit PAN> For example: UIDPAN 123456789012 ABCDE1234F
  • You will receive an SMS indicating the status of your Aadhaar and PAN linking.

Ensure that your mobile number is registered with both Aadhaar and PAN for this method to work.

3. PAN Aadhar link status through UIDAI Online Portal:
  • Visit the official UIDAI website: UIDAI
  • Look for the “Check Aadhaar & Bank Account Linking Status” option.
  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and the security code.
  • Click on the “Send OTP” option.
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • You will then see the status of Aadhaar linking with various services, including PAN.
4. PAN Aadhar link status through Offline Methods:

Visit your bank branch:

  • Inform the bank representative about checking your PAN-Aadhaar link status.
  • They can access your linked details and confirm the status.

Visit an authorized PAN service provider:

  • Provide your PAN and Aadhaar details to the service provider.
